Meet the dedicated team at Kamloops Infant Development Society, a group of passionate professionals committed to supporting young children and their families.
I am a Paediatric Nurse and Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I obtained much of my valuable experience as an RN at British Columbia’s Children’s Hospital. I have always been and continue to be extremely passionate about working with young children and their families.
I have had the absolute pleasure of working in the Kamloops Infant Development Program for over 20 years; the first 3 years as a consultant and then taking over the Executive Director position. It is very important to me to continue to work closely with families therefore I have continued to work as a consultant, visiting with families in their homes, providing developmental support.
I have 3 grown children from whom I learned about the journey of parenting and the joy that comes along with being their parent
Hello my name is Katerina Bozanich, have proudly worked as an IDP Consultant with KIDS since 2007.
I am of Czech & Croatian my parents moved us to Canada when I was 3 years old. Ever since I was a child, I have loved to play and explore and I have not stopped to this day. Growing up I could be found playing with my dolls and teddy bears packing them for tea parties outside along with my dogs, lambs, geese and any other farm friends that cared to join in.
I completed my education at TRU in Kamloops from the ECE IT & SN programs. I then Completed my IDP and SCD Certification at UBC in 2015. I worked with children and families for over 25 years.
My family is my world, I am an animal lover, I love being in the sunshine, being the gardener for my complex and riding my e-bike 😊
Hello! My name is Shawna Worth. I was born in The Pas, MB, grew up in Logan Lake, BC., and have also lived in Brandon, MB, Terrace, BC and Kamloops, BC. I married my best friend, Jeff, in 2011 and we welcomed our one and only child, Hudson, in 2012. Together we enjoy traveling, exploring new places, camping, and cheering for the Winnipeg Jets!
I started working in the childcare field in 2007 and graduated from the ECE program in 2010. I quickly discovered that infants/toddlers are the age that I am most passionate about, and graduated from the Infant/Toddler program in 2022. I continued working in childcare until 2024 and have been incredibly fortunate to have been with KIDS since then.
Hello my name is Wendy Flegel. With nearly 30 years of experience in early childhood education, I have dedicated my career to nurturing and supporting children and partnering with their families, whether it is infants, toddlers or preschoolers.
As a parent of three, I also bring my personal experience to my work. In my spare time I enjoy spending time outside in nature. I hold my Early Childhood Education Diploma, and I am currently enrolled in the Certificate in Infant Development & Supported Child Development. I'm excited to continue helping children and their families thrive.
Hi, my name is Wildflower, I am an Infant Development Consultant with the Kamloops Infant Development Society. I have a keen sense of play; as a teenager I was the babysitting queen of the neighbourhood. After a detour through education and jobs in stats, math, insurance and investments, I returned to my love of working with children in my 30’s. I’ve worked with children of all ages but as I learned, both personally and professionally, about attachment and the profound development of the brain early in life, my focus turned more and more towards working with infants and toddlers. I’m passionate about helping families harness the power of relationship and the dynamic growth of the early years to enhance overall development.
